Meet Simon.
Here's Simon.
He's our new dog.
He's about 15 months old, and a purebred labrador retriever.
He came from a family at church who wanted him to have more room to run around.
He has lots of energy.
He's still getting used to living at our farm.
He loves playing fetch.
He loves playing with Willie, although Willie is still getting used to playing with him.
We hope he likes living here!

Sometimes things change.
It's so true. I have to be open to change and not freak out about it. I tend to plan and have things set in my mind how they will go. I like to think that I'm flexible and can just go with the flow (and a lot of times I can), but I know my true personality is that I want things to go how I'm assuming they will go.
With all of that said, after our sonogram the doctor said our baby is measuring a little small for how far along I am. Therefore, she has pushed out due date back to June 19, 2011. I know it's nothing to worry about, but it just forces me to change what I've been thinking all along. Not to say a due date is set in stone and will definitely say when our little girl will come out to meet us, but I like the idea of having a "date" set in my head. Just for planning purposes, right?! What's another 10 days in the whole scheme of things? :)

They really do....
walk single file to the water hole!
I was driving by our cattle in the field today, and this is what I saw. It brought to mind Derek's song lyrics, "like cattle walking single file to the water hole" in Grasswalker.
