Alyssa Jo Klingenberg!!!!!!!!!!

Derek and Kara had their second baby girl on May 17, 2010, Alyssa Jo. We're so excited for them! She was 6lbs, 3oz. and 18 inches long. She is such a beautiful baby, and so easygoing. Makayla is definitely a proud big sister. She always wants to "hold you", aka, hold her (meaning Alyssa). So cute! Congratulations Derek and Kara!

Tornado chasing

Grant, Derek and their cousin Eric went tornado chasing in Oklahoma on Monday. They saw this tornado with multiple vortex.

Corn Hole

My wonderful parents got us the board and bean bags for Corn Hole! We've been playing it a lot since the weather has been nicer. It's so much fun! Makayla likes to play, but it becomes a challenge when she climbs on the board, looks into the hole, and takes the bean bags. Oh well... we still have lots of fun!

Anniversary #3!!

On March 10, 2010, Grant and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary! Can't believe it's been three years, but we've also had a lot happen in those three years. To celebrate (as well as celebrate my birthday and Grant says celebrate his birthday, which isn't until June...), we treated ourselves to some days in Kansas City... and

It was so fun. We've always thought it would be fun to go to the tournament, and since it was in Kansas City this year (free lodging with my parents and friends nearby), we could hardly pass it up!

Our Wildcats made it to the championship game, so we are very proud of them.

I have to say, I was a little basketball-ed out after watching 11 games in 4 days, but it was a great time! Oh, and way to go K-State for making it to the Elite 8 in the NCAA tournament! So much good basketball...

Is it spring?

Grant and I got out in the nicer weather earlier this month. We took Gus to the watershed that is close by. He doesn't really swim, just walks into the water and wanders around, sniffing for anything he can chase. There were also a TON of geese around. It was incredibly windy, but fun to get out.
